InterContinental Hotels Seattle Bellevue

My wife and I went for a weekend getaway. The hotel is not as tall, grand, covered in marble like other Intercontinental hotels, No pool or hot tub, a little less fancy, but still very nice. The location is its strength. I don’t know why they insisted on putting Seattle in the name because downtown Bellevue has surpassed downtown Seattle on so many levels. Bellevue is across the lake from Seattle. The shops are great, the mall across the street is high end, the high rises are newer, the shopping district is amazing, fine dining isn’t leaving town, movie options, Bellevue Museum a few blocks away, boutiques, etc., all within a short walk. If you want unsafe walks, tents, poop on the sidewalks, the stench of urine, empty storefronts, and a ‘proud to be weird’ feel, Seattle is what you want. If you want clean, safe, classy, policed, and romantic Bellevue is where you want to be and this is a great location in the middle of it all.

Really great hotel, definitely recommend. Perfect location. Reasonable price. Phenomenon service, especially front desk to downstairs bar. Nice room. Nice touch having coffee and more in lobby in morning. Great overall experience.
